More 100 club success - By Hook and Crook!!

From volunteering for the 100 club at last years ball, Paul and Sandra Crook started to plan how they could raise the money.  They came up with some ideas based on things happening during the year. 

•  A sweepstake for the Euros 2016 football tournament – which kept interest going in the competition despite Englands best efforts!!
• Sponsored walk up Snowdon as they were in Wales on holiday. Sandra and Mike Cowie were the only two to make it up and down, in double fast time.
• The Velocity Zip Wire, again in the same vicinity, where they came down a mile long wire at 95mph from 1200ft. (At their age!! Amazing fun)
• Parachute Jump organised through work, which was a first for Paul and something he would do again, without hesitating.

So, despite reaching our target of £100 early on, they wanted to keep the momentum going. It was great for them to exceed £1000 helped by a contribution from employers Wesleyan Bank of £250, getting them to £1,453 including gift aid.
