Becci making headway thanks to the Foundation
Becci Tenty, who suffers from MS has been in Russia getting pioneering treatment for her condition that is not available in the UK. A large proportion of the funding for this treatment came from the Geoff Smith Foundation, for which Becci is eternally thankful. In a recent message from Russia, Becci said:
"Hi to you all hope you're ok. All going well here. Had the liposuction & bone marrow removal which was painful but all good. I was down for 3 types of stem cell but now I'm having 5 types. They say I'm a happy person with a lovely smile!!! There are people here with MND progressive MS & aggressive MS. All British or Irish, so maybe this could be a place for Mandy to come. For 6 months, no direct sun light or alcohol & v good diet & lets hope they work their magic. Lots of jabs in my bum maybe a Russian thing!!! X
The Foundation is very peased with progress and of being able to help and wishes Becci all the very best as the treatment continues.
