Big Jump for Mandy

Mandy Proctor, both a beneficiary of the Geoff Smith Foundation and an active supporter and helper for the charity is going to hurl herself out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft in order to raise money for the foundation. On the 7th of June, she will make a tandem parachute jump with the aim of raising £3000. Talking about her jump, Mandy says:

"I was diagnosed with Progressive MS in 1983, just 1 year after marrying Tom, we have two sons aged 24 & 21. Since about 1994, I have been unable to walk and more recently have not felt confident enough to use my electric buggy. Tom & I have supported The Geoff Smith Foundation for numerous years and the charity has assisted us in a number of ways. Inspired by Becky Tenty a fellow MS sufferer, I have arranged to do a parachute jump of my own, in an effort to raise a substantial amount for the charity"
