"I always wanted to run in the London Marathon after seeing my friend run it a few years ago. I wanted to run for a charity that helped the local community of Southampton. The reason why I chose The Geoff Smith Foundation in aid of MS was after hearing about the good work they carry out for people who suffer with MS, their carers and their families. My boyfriend's father has MS and was diagnosed about 20 years ago. He was a very active and capable person but his physical ability has become severly limited since his diagnosis. I have worked in the Finance Dept for CPG Logisitcs for the past 7 years. I support Southampton FC and I am a keen horse rider and of course now a major fan of running.
