Fundraising

You will have realised by now that The Geoff Smith Foundation is a small and friendly charity which is wholly supported through the hard work of its founders and supporters. Because we are not Government funded the charity raises all of its resources through fundraising events and activities, and through private donations from generous companies and individuals.

A very big "Thank You" goes to Paul Evertt, of SOVEREIGN WINDOWS who were our Main sponsors this year. Paul is pictured below 2nd from the left ,with organiser Ken Wattam, and golf Pro Richard Bland.

GOLF DAYS
We always aim to have fun when we raise our funds. Our golf days have been the bedrock of our success and provided much of the money needed to buy the holiday villa for MS sufferers.

THIS YEAR: 2008

Friday May 23 rd - Gala Night at the Novotel Southampton

This was a Fantastic night, we raised £24k on the day. Nearly 300 people attended and enjoyed a superb 4 course meal, comedy from Scott Charlton, Tom Canning did hisTom Jones routine, and we had live band Rufus Stone.

Peter Cooper VW Group & Soveriegn Windows UK were our Main sponsors, so a big thank you to them and all that attended and supported the Charity.
